BRIEF: Complete room make over due to move up to secondary school. Additional space required via wardrobe and a more grown up entering into teenage years feel to it, based around the chosen theme Chelsea FC.
Furniture supplied by Ikea offers functionality, clean lines, storage ideas and the options of mix n match styles at an affordable price. The white American oak skirting, glazed door and window ledge were to remain. Fresh coats of emulsion were applied to ceilings and main walls Dulux white mat emulsion to ceiling and Egyptian cotton to 3 main walls. We sourced a close match dark blue for a Chelsea feature wall that would offset one of our flip poster boards. Final dressing of the room with new posters, picture frames, Chelsea memorabilia, giant size been bag and the addition of the storage wardrobe. That little bit of carte blanche was to feed some LED strip lights around the back of the bed surround gave the bedroom that little something extra.
